Classes Online or In Person

You could have a one hour class to begin with. Or you could take 4 hours of class at a discounted rate.

Maybe you have something specific to learn – a song, a kriti, a particular phrasing doubt, a tala count that is troubling you. If it can be finished in an hour, you pay just for the hour.

If your needs could take 4 hours or more, you get the lessons at a discounted rate – fees paid for 4 hours at a time. See below for details.

If we meet more than 8 hours in a month, the rate is much discounted, as a gesture of appreciation to your strong intent in learning music and getting better with the art.

Doubts about Skype Class

We use the video provision in Skype.
I will be typing the relevant parts.
You ask me questions, clear doubts at your pace – this is a big advantage when compared to just buying a video or learning by yourself.
I keep sending you videos, pdfs and web links to supplement the portions covered.
At times i send you the material before a lesson, so that you can go through it, or you will have it handy when we have the class.
We keep clear track of what we covered, what we will cover and the actions to be taken after each class.
If you are learning guitar, we will use the web cam option to see each other's guitar. Then we use videos for further learning.
Much of learning also involves assurance, affirmation and getting comfortable with the pressures and frustration of learning. Communicating one to one through skype helps this vital part of the process too.
