Wow I can comment. Yes I do like this one a lot and especially the monkish 'something happens' in the middle, as its both funny and foot-tappingly stirring. I suggest empty out the Rahman stuff (nice as it is) and leave your 6/8 groove, write a new longer melody (suggest resolving only at the end of the 'eight' instead of Rahman's repeats, and go down where he goes up, or... something).  And it will be fully Monkishious! anyway great!
